The appearance of the summonerwith his tire-red pim[)led face, narrow eyes and l( morals,is as little attractive as thai of his friend the effeminatepardoner, iiis beardless chin, goggle eyes, dank yellowhair, and squeaky nasal voice. None the less, however, isthe latter a good man of business, with a wonderful power ofpersuading people to buy his jiardons.
