Upper of a salt barrel from tin, anonymous, c. 1590 - c. 1596 salt (condiment vessel) Upper of a Tin salt barrel. Uif -shaped lid with a round ball on it that ends in a peak and in which four holes are. This part could probably be screwed loose. The bottom of this consists of a pewter plate.
