Capt. Kellie Mix encourages Charlotteans during a morning physical training event, Sept. 8, 2018, in Charlotte, , as a part of Marine Week Charlotte. The event gave Charlotte residents the chance to see the way that Marines exercise to stay combat ready. Marine Week Charlotte provides an opportunity for the Marine Corps to visit a city that normally doesn’t have opportunities to interact with Marines on a regular basis.
