This plan tends to prevent the formation of the habits ofidleness and carelessness, and it also tends to correct these habitsif they exist already. 6. Pupils and parents feel that the school is managed in theinterest of the children. 7. With the right kind of special teacher, coming into contactwith nearly all the other teachers of the building, the course ofstudy in its application to the various grades of the building be-comes more unified than would be possible otherwise.
