The Royal Dutch Mint (KNM), Utrecht, The Netherlands. Saturday 31st August, 2019. Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of The Netherlands, this morning performed the ceremonial first blow on the coin; a special commemorative in honour of the 70th anniversary of the Royal Dutch Cancer Society (KWF). In the past 70 years, the survival rate of cancer has risen from 25% in 1949 to 64% in the present Her Majesty is the Society patron and the foundation was founded by Queen Wilhelmina in 1949.
