JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Nov. 3, 2016) – Cindy Millard (right), Naval Hospital (NH) Jacksonville dietitian, discusses healthy eating during a diabetes health fair at the hospital. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 29 million people in the U. S. have diabetes, eight million of whom may be undiagnosed and unaware of their condition. Celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year, NH Jacksonville's priority since its founding in 1941 is to heal the nation's heroes and their families.
