SAN ANTONIO, Texas (April 24, 2017) Sailors from the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Antonio (LPD 17), front, and other Sailors from various commands around the San Antonio area participate in the Pilgrimage to the Alamo. The pilgrimage honors those who defended the Alamo by laying wreaths at the Alamo. Seven Sailors from the San Antonio, including the executive officer and the command master chief, are visiting their ship's namesake during Fiesta San Antonio, April 24-30.
