A rhinoceros horn, Africa circa 1900 Large horn of a rhinoceros. The two upper thirds polished, the lower third with rough, natural surface structure. Small age cracks as well as one larger crack on the inside of the horn's bending. Mounted on a wooden base, on the reverse side a suspension ring. Length measured along the bending 45 cm. Weight 1,65 kg (including the wooden mounting board).
