A view looking north along the west walk of the Great Cloister of Gloucester Cathedral, the former Benedictine abbey of St Peter. The cloisters were rebuilt 1373-1410 under Abbots Horton and Frocester. Perpendicular Gothic in style with the first extensive use of fan vaulting in Britain. The cloister garth is to the right (E).
