The weather continues mild, but business holds up remarkably well. Eoses are considerably off crop and there is hardly enough to go around. Carnations are cleaned up daily. The recent cloudy weather nearly shut off the sweet pea supply and these cannot be bought at a premium. Paper Whites, hyacinths and valley are plentiful. Tulips and jonquils are finding ready sale. Easter lilies are scarce. Various Notes. Richard Kootz, formerly of Indian- apolis, but now with the Fleischman Floral Co., Chicago, spent a few days in the city last week. The February meeting of the State Florists' Association is to be held with the Dorners, of Lafayette, Tuesday, February 4. The Indianapolis florists will leave on the interurban lihiited at 8 a. m. Quite a number have announced their intention of going. Harry Balsley, of Detroit; S. S. Ski- delsky, of Philadelphia, and Frank Farney, also from Philadelphia, called on the trade last week.
