A few years after his fatlui-ileath he was removed from his pas-torate and returned to whence he was called to tinIresidency of Yale College, whichnice he filled but a short lime befon-iiis death. The Rev. John Irudden. at the age <if foity-five, was settled as the third minister of the church and continued to be the pastor for about ten years.
