Marino, a native of Columbus, Ohio, is a team leader with 1st Brigade, 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group. New Zealand Army soldiers and Marines with 5th ANGLICO worked together to provide opposing forces during Phantom Major, a training event challenging upcoming platoon commanders to successfully lead fellow New Zealand soldiers.
