CAMP SMITH TRAINING SITE, Robotic mannequins are used to simulate real casualties here during the combat lifesaver course (CLS) held here, from June 21 to 22. The mannequins can moan and scream, bleed, breath, blink and even move to mimic any number of injuries that a soldier may get in a combat environment. The mannequin here is used to assist CLS soldiers in the proper utilization of tourniquets which are used to stop in the case where a ligament may be catastrophically amputated.
