The original Pyramid Stage viewed from the back of the Main Field at Glastonbury, Saturday June 23, 1990. This was the year of the notorious 'Battle of Yeoman Bridge' riot. The empty fields behind the stage were bought by Eavis in the early 90s and now the festival fills the entire valley. This incarnation of the Pyramid Stage burnt down in 1994. At this time you could still camp at the back of the main field. They no longer allow tents at the back of the main field. Photo: ROB WATKINS
