MXJM SHOW AT WOOSTER, O, The chrysanthemum show held at Wooster, O., November 19 to 23 was well attended and the out-of-town exhibits were fine. The Joy Floral Co., of Memphis, Tenn., sliowed two new carnations. They Avere Natalie, a fine dark pink, and Thomas C. Joy, which is a fine white and was given honorable mention. White Bros., of Medina, N. Y., showed a vase of their new white rose, Medina. This was given honorable mention. Elmer 1). ISmith & Co., Adrian, Mich., had a large display of exhibition anil pompon chrysanthemums, including Orange Queen, Rose Delight, Pink Treas- ure, Purple King and, in the pompon class, Daintv Maid, Crista, Maple Leaf, Mary Pickford, The Chief, The Pelle and others. Special mention was given to Purple King and William Turner. A. N. Pierson, Inc., Cromwell, Conn., was given honorable mention for the new rose, Priscilla. This attracted a great deal of attention as a rival to American Beauty. This company also showed a remarkable collection of ]iom- pons in great variety. Seedling No. 478, New York, November Gold, Louise Davenport and Liijiroved Romaine War- ren were in this collection, given honor- able mention. The judges were William Pennick and P. N. Rice.
