GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Dec. 12, 2016) Recruits from Divisions 023 and 024 secure their firefighting equipment, Dec. 12, at Recruit Training Command after the completion of their final firefighting class. Recruits attend a week of firefighting training to gain basic knowledge, understanding and confidence in the Navy's firefighting equipment. About 30,000-40,000 recruits graduate annually from the Navy's only boot camp.
