Isaac Newton telescope at night. Stars above the Isaac Newton telescope at the Roque de Los Muchachos Observatory, La Palma, Canary Islands. This observatory is situated 2,600 metres above sea level and is home to some of the world's leading research telescopes. In the night sky the stars of the constellation Cassiopeia appear over the observatory with the notable W-like figure. Higher up in the sky is Cepheus. On the lower right the Andromeda Galaxy is visible and right above the dome is the Double Star Cluster.
