Haemorrhaged eyes. Bloody eyes of a patient suffering from sub-conjunctival haemorrhages, bleeding into the space beneath the conjunctiva of each eye. The conjunctiva is the membrane that lines the front of each eye and the inside of the eyelids. The bleeding is usually caused by a minor injury to the eye, although it may also be due to glaucoma (high pressure within the eyeball) or an infection.
