Puravi Eduppu is a festival beseeching the rain gods for their mercy. Clay horses are made and decorated, then carried in procession through the village, from the village temple to the Ayyanar temple, where it is deposited to join other horses there. Venthanpatti; Pudukkottai District, Tamil Nadu.
