Cross memorial (in 4K) on the Mount Srd battlefield, Dubrovnik, Croatia. This position close to Fort Imperial (behind the camera position) was held by local forces defending the Old City of Dubrovnik. During the Homeland War, Mount Srd was a key objective for the JNA, Serbian and Montenegrin forces, who advanced on it and besieged it. If they had captured it, they would have controlled the high ground and been able to engage direct fire on the Old City below.
