One was taken on hook and line in fathoms of water and the other in an eight-inch inner mesh trammel net which had been set in five fathoms of water. Beebe and Tee-Yan report this species only at Panama Bay. One speci- men has been deposited in the fish collection of the University of Cali- fornia, Los Angeles, and the other at the School of Tropical and Preven- tive Medicine. Urofrygon rogersi (Jordan & Starks) A single ray of this species was taken by the N. B. Scofield in a two- inch mesh gill net at San Juanico Bay, Baja California.
