Sculpture outside Kildonan Museum on South Uist. DETAILS IN DESCRIPTION.


The sculpture, by Malcolm Robertson, was commissioned to celebrate the reopening of the museum in 1998. It consists of a block of local Uist stone, holding a steel sheet cut with two verses from 'In Praise of Uist', a Gaelic emigrant song.
