Gable of the destroyed monastery church in Zehdenick


The small town Zehdenick is located in the Brandenburg state north of Berlin. The former Abbey of Cistercian nuns was founded in 1250 and was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War. From the monastery church are only parts of the outer wall preserved.
