Simpson's Tavern, 38 1/2 Ball Court Alley, Cornhill, London EC3V 9DR. Simpsons Tavern is located just off Cornhill, across from the Royal Exchange and reached via a small alley. A famous City of London institution, it was established in 1757 and claims to be the oldest 'chop house' in London. It is a Grade II listed building, built in the late 17th/early 18th century.
