Very much evocative of an earlier, less hurried time, this beautiful view of the very centre of Ireland's capital city (the Second City of the Empire' at the time) shows the electric trams in their heyday (the last line in the city was closed in 1949, and the Howth Head tram eventually ceased in 1959, when it had to have police protection from souvenir hunters).
