The Notre-Dame Church built between 1869-1871 in Plouguiel, France. The architect was Alphonse Guepin and the church was built by Louis Kerguenou. The stone was donated by M. du Boisriou. The church was consecrated on October 5, 1873. There is a burial in the cemetery dating from the 14th-15th century of a knight of the Forest of Kernivinen. The lords of Kerousy once possessed pre-eminences in the parish church of Plouguiel.
