Active protests occurred in the major and/or capital cities of India,[255] United Kingdom,[256] Canada,[257] Australia, Norway, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany and the United States. The collective objective of the protests was to persuade world national leaders to stop the civil war and bring a permanent ceasefire with an internationally coordinated diplomatic strategy.
