These dollars are now very rare andcommand high prices at auction coin sales, andamong coin dealers. The first proof 1794 dollar coined waspresented to the British Mint, London, andnow reposes in all its original beauty and lustrein that wonderful institution. A fine specimen of this dollar would com-mand, at a public coin sale, at least five hundreddollars, while worn examples of this coinagewould be worth from fifty to one hundreddollars. RARE AMERICAN-
