A half portrait of an officer, of the Hussar Regiment No. 2, before 1743. Oil on canvas, picture size 58 x 74 cm, previously probably in an oval frame, unsigned, undated. On the back later labelled "Hans Joachim von Zieten Königl. preuß. Major" and "I. Krügel accad pinx 1737". In an old, simple gilt frame. The picture at hand is one of the earliest portraits of a member of the Life Hussar Regiment and can be dated between 1735 and 1743.
