Aerial view of Colleferro, one of the most polluted cities in Italy
Colleferro is a town 40 km from Rome. This area, called Valle del Sacco, many people have serious health problems, caused by the pollution that the factories have produced for 100 years. A waste-to-energy plant has been built for about 20 years to burn waste. The result was an increase in pollution, which caused other health problems for citizens.
