The increasing demand for Lawn Mixtures, and results given by experiments, has enabled us to study the grasses best suited to all climates and locations. The constant use of the Ball and Cricket Grounds at the season when rains are not generally copious, necessitates skill and care when such grounds are prepared. It is therefore imperative to provide such perennial grasses that will maintain not only color, but also to grow constantly during the hot dry season. In no other mixtures of grasses are these points more rigidly adhered to than in our Fairmount Park and Evergreen Mixtures. We have supplied 6ome of the largest contracts of landscape work during the last year, viz. : Willow Grove Park, Overbrook Farms and Pelham ; also Merion, Belmont and Manheim Cricket Grounds, Golf Links, and Polo Grounds ; also many private estates whose Lawns are models of perfection.
