Llynnau Cregennen

Around 300 metres above sea level Llynnau Cregennaen stands in the lee of Cader Idris one of the highest mountains in Wales and is part of Snowdonia National Park. The estuary of Afon Mawddach & the coastal resort of Barmouth are visible from thsi area. The town of Dolgellau is approximately 10 miles east.
