C, Jr., and Mrs. F. C. Weber, Jr., left Sunday, June 26, to spend of the summer among the northern lakes. Mr. and Mrs. Art Beyer expect to follow the latter part of July. Walter Amling, of Pana, 111., presi- dent of the St. Louis district branch of the National Flower Growers' Associa- tion, spent June 21 in the city. Mr. Amling is looking forward to July 19, when the district holds its third quar- terly meeting at Centralia, 111., whicli should be the largest and best moeting the association has yet held. J. W. Ross is active almost daily with prepara- tions for this meeting and reports that arrangements are .almost completed. He remarked that any grower who misses this meeting will regret it.
