Koth has described othej- small blind vasa aberrantia lying along the epididymisand connected with the rete testis. Org-an of Giraldjs.—The small body thus named is situated in the front ofthe cord immediately above the caput epididymis (see fig. 591. r/). It consistsusually of several small irregular masses containing convoluted tubules lined withcolumnar ciliated epithelium, and is scarcely to be recognised until the surround-ing connective tissue has been rendered transparent by re-agents. It has alsoreceived the name oi 2(^rc2mliduiint<. Its tubules appear to be vestiges of part ofthe Wolffian THE SEMINAL VESICLES. The seminal vesicles are two membranous receptacles, situated, oneon each side, upon the base of the bladder, between it and the distended, they form two long sacculated bodies, somewhatflattened on the side next the bladder, to which they are firmlyattached, and convex on their inferior surface ; they are widenedbehind and nanow in front (fig. 600, s). Their length is usuallyabout two inches, and the greatest breadth about half an inch ; butthey vary both in size and shape in different individuals, and also on thetwo sides. Their posterior obtuse extremities are separated widely from each Fig. 600.—Base of the hale BLADDER WITH THE , VASA DEFERENTIA,A>1> PROSTATE EXPOSED (fiom Hallcr;.
