May 1948 - An early printed photograph of the annual Fair at Pinner, Middlesex. ----- The first Pinner Fair took place in 1336 by royal permission and the consent of the Archbishop of Canterbury ( Lord of the Manor of Harrow ). As well as the usual fairground rides and stall, farmers gathered to buy and sell their animals and produce.
