Castle Square. Old Town, Warsaw, Poland.
Warsaw’s Old Town was almost entirely flattened by the Germans during the 1944 uprising. After the war the area was rebuilt house by house. It’s the largest reconstruction projects ever undertaken. Today the Old Town is Warsaw’s main tourist attractions and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
