To prevent this abuse and still permit a passenger to gofrom any portion of the single-fare district to any other por-tion for one fare, H. M. Sloan, general manager of the com-pany, has issued the novel transfer illustrated. The body ofthe transfer is very similar to those commonly issued byother roads.
