Church of St Bartholomew, Bethnal Green, London, shortly after its completion circa 1844. Closed in the 1977 it was converted into flats in the 1980s.


Church of St Bartholomew, Bethnal Green shortly after its completion circa 1844; Black and White Illustration; St Bartholomew was one of ten new churches to be commissioned for the area by the Bishop of London, James Bloomfield in 1839. The architect was William Railton; The church has now been converted into housing apartments but still retains many of the original features.
