HIGHLAXD PARK GREENHOUSES Established 1894 Members F. T. D. the hotel were turned into an outdoor garden, with a lattice framework on walls and ceiling covered with smilax and moss, into which were woven arti- ficial nasturtiums. Small electric bulbs were strung thickly through the greens and Japanese lanterns depended from the ceiling, adding to the garden effect. A fountain at one end of the ballroom played over a mound of ferns and led to an arbor, where 250 bunches of green and red grapes hung. Three hundred long-stemmed Premier and Columbia roses were combined with woodwardia fern leaves in the ballroom. Hugo Nelf, manager of the Muehlebach Flower Shop, and Joseph Eeichl, of the hotel, planned the affair. J. E. K. Cadi2, 0.—'C. O. Daview has pur- chased the greenhouse formerly owned by John T.
