Petty Officer 2nd Class Fatima Maestro, a boatswains mate aboard USCGC Myrtle Hazard (WPC 1139) in Guam, prepares to hoist the flag of the Federated States of Micronesia ahead of an expanded shiprider agreement signing allowing remote coordination of authorities, the first of its kind on Oct. 13, 2022. The agreement will enable to to act on behalf of the FSM to combat illicit maritime activity and to strengthen international security operations.
