ACTING SQUADRON LEADER STORRAR WINS BAR TO DFC - Acting Squadron Leader James Eric Storrar of Chester, has been awarded a Bar to his DFC. He fought over the beaches of Dunkirk, claimed two victims on the first day of the Battle of Britain, and was afterwards in action in the Middle East. Since the award of the Distinguished Flying Cross, Squadron Leader Storrar has destroyed five enemy aircraft, probably destroyed two more, and damaged four in the air.
