Thestation at the corner of Boylston and Tremont streets isso designed that there will be no grade crossing of trackson which cars run in opposite directions, the separation ofgrades being eflfected by means of a sub-subway for thesouth-bound Tremont-street cars, as indicated in Figure 1. Between Boylston and Park streets the subway will becarried, with four tracks, principally under the mall of theCommon, the two tracks on the east being for north-boundcars, and the two tracks on the west for the south- and west-bound cars.
