On guard on the station to protect property, he had released two service police for other duties. He was trained in a special police school and given into the charge of Corporal G. Mannering, of Chapel Allerton, Leeds, a member of the station police, who had been a dog fancier for most of his life. Mike, obedient to the word of command from his keeper, has been trained to tackle the toughest customer.
