Strokkur and a Sun Pillar Part 1/4

Strokkur is one of the most active geysers in Iceland, erupting every 5 or 10 minutes. A sun or light pillar appears as a vertical pillar of light generally rising from the sun near sunset or sunrise. Ice cystals cause the phenomenon when the sun is within 6 degrees of the horizon.
