Yet these cows won first place in competitions of considerable consequence; the one was a Grand Champion in the Jersey Cow Class at the United States National Dairy Show, which was hekl in Virginia, while the dtlicr was First and Champion in the Cow Classes at the Oxford County Show, and is the property of that well-known breeder, Lord Rothschild.
