SHIMODA, Japan (May 19, 2018) – The 7th Fleet Band performs during a parade down the main street of Shimoda, Japan, as part of the 79th Shimoda Black Ship Festival. The Navy’s participation in the festival celebrates the heritage of naval partnership first established by Commodore Matthew Perry’s 1853 port visit.
