Sections of the chorion show that the mseoderm of the villiis hyaline, in which remnants of blood-vessels may be seen,with a normal number of round nuclei scattered through syncytium also appears to be normal. Between the villisome mucus may be seen, in which there are leucocytes. Nodecidua is attached to the villi.
