Nepali devotees carry traditional torches on the way to Bungmati temple, as they welcome the idol of Rato Machhindranath during the last day of the took down the red god from its chariot in Pulchok and carried it to its temple in Bungamati. The annual chariot festival Rato Machhindranath skipped out on its traditional route and series of high-profile cultural events like Bhoto Jatra in Jawlakhel and coconut throwing in Lagankhel due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
