This image may not be used to state or imply ESA endorsement of any company or product Olympus Mons. Mars Express satellite image of the Eastern scarp (cliff-like edge) of the Olympus Mons volcano on Mars. The scarp is up to 6 kilometres high in places. This volcano is the largest mountain in the solar system at 600 kilometres wide and 24 kilometres tall. Data for this image were obtained on 23 November 2004 by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on ESA's Mars Express.
