An Apulian-Corinthian helmet, 5th century Bronze, tall helmet with an offset calotte and distinctly contoured eyebrows. Small eye cutouts with border engraving extending downwards to indicate the nose guard and the line of separation for the cheek pieces. Engraved depictions of wild boars on the cheek pieces. A plume fork riveted to the crown. Two holes for the chinstraps at the sides of the lower rim. Height cm. Weight 630 g. Greenish-brown patina. Only remnants of the neck protector have been preserved.
